There’s been a lot of hype around 2021 being a better year than the last. While we can’t predict the future, we can promise tons of exciting new delivery options. To start the year off strong, we’ve got sweet treats from Magnolia Bakery for our Brooklyn neighbors, fuku’s crispy fried chicken sandwiches coming in hot to Philly, and the best (and arguably most decadent) french fries from Man Vs Fries coming to a neighborhood near you. This is our ode to the new year in food form.
Magnolia Bakery: Hey Brooklyn, Magnolia Bakery is now delivering to Williamsburg and Greenpoint. If you find yourself sitting in a park, maybe by the East River, staring wistfully toward Manhattan, wishing you had some banana pudding or a delicious piece of cake, we’ve got good news for you. Magnolia Bakery joined the NBRHD and now you can skip the line in Midtown, and have Magnolia Bakery’s world-famous treats delivered straight to you.
Fuku: Philly friends, your patience is being rewarded. David Chang’s chicken joint, fuku, is now available for delivery in Philadelphia. Even if you already have a go-to fried chicken spot, you’re going to want to add fuku to the roster. Each fried chicken ‘sando’ features habanero brined thigh-meat and an inventive signature Fuku sauce. Plus, fuku turned up the heat on their spicy chicken sandwich (think: saucier, bigger, and somehow even crispier).
Man Vs Fries: If you live in Seattle, Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Austin, Dallas, or Portland, Fry-day is now an option every day of the week. Man Vs Fries, the pop-up restaurant concept serving up decadent and immensely imaginative french fry creations, has (luckily) expanded its delivery reach. Now you can finally try french fries inside a burrito or topped with Hot Cheetos.
Sushiato: Sushiato is the sushi concept that artfully fuses Japanese cuisine with a Latin fusion twist. And if you live in Miami, now you can have rolls like the Tamarindo Special, a roll with tempura salmon, tuna, avocado, fried plantains, and a Tamarind sauce drizzle, delivered straight to your door. You’re weekly at-home sushi feast just got a feisty upgrade.
